#11- Birth

It is fall and there are all kinds of fun things outside that my kids think they need to bring inside! I was ready to go to bed and realized I had forgotten to make and Art Card, and it was only the 11th day! So I sat back down and saw several acorns that had made their way to the couch. One had a small sprout starting and I liked the green contrast with all of the brown. So a color pencil sketch was done (it took longer than I had hoped) The acorn I chose had no cap, and when the sketch was done I thought it needed more so I found one of the caps laying around the house and added it to the image. This is not my favorite art card but they can't all be!
