#14- Blue

This image was sketched and then water colored from a photo in a magazine that i just loved. I do prefer to use my own reference photos but this was too cute to pass up! I like the almost cutsie bird and the Asian feel of the twig with cherry blossoms. I must say that water color for this size image is quickly becoming one of my favorites!!! My three year old likes this card. She has always liked birds and when she was only about one she called them "tibbies" for some unknown reason. I like the name and decided that a series of birds will be called "tibbies." Oh and the fish were "shibbies!" Crazy girl.
