17-Inspiration point

A family Camping trip to northern lower Michigan led us to a place called Inspiration Point. It was apparently big in the 20's or 30's but has lost popularity over the years. It was a beautiful spot to appreciate nature! forest, lake, trees, field. I Chose to paint this in watercolor a bit looser than some of the other pieces. The "watercolor paper" seemed to make the painting even looser and a bit difficult to control. In the end I think it turned out pretty well and preserved a great memory.
