40-Cozy

This drawing is a quick pencil sketch that I did after spending the night catching up with a good friend :) Staying out late required a minimalist plan. Really there was no plan, we were staying in a hotel in traverse city and I went back to the room, the light was on next to the chair and when I saw it I knew that is what I was going to draw. I started sketching and then shading and I decided that I really liked the minimal feeling of the chair and it's shadow.
